We are excited to begin the 2020 season and are very happy to announce that the new website is ready.
With a new website always comes challenges and we are here to help you out in any way we can. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or issues using the new site.
For the new website, the list of user profiles was imported over from the old website. In order to log in for the first time, you will be using the email from your profile on the old site. Directors will need to utilize the “lost your password” function to reset your account for the new website.
Below are short videos to walk you through the new Director dashboard:
Existing Director Login Access – Watch Video
Director Dashboard – TMA – Watch Video
Once logged in for the first time, you will need to utilize the Director Area in the box on the right. You will need to review your profile prior to registering your first group. As stated in the video, Directors will need to add each of their units to the new system, even returning units.
Units may only register for events after membership fees are received and marked paid in the TMA database. The sooner your membership fees are paid the sooner you will be able to register for shows. Remember that membership payments received on or after December 31, 2019 will incur a late fee of $100.
Please make sure you select the championship date appropriate for your unit class. TMA Championship week 1 will be held at Ryle High School on March 21st and is for guard units only in the following classes: Junior, Scholastic Regional A-2, Scholastic Regional A and Independent Regional A classes. TMA Championship week 2 will be held at BB&T Arena on the campus of Northern Kentucky University on March 28th and is for Scholastic A-2, ALL WGI recognized guard classes, and ALL Percussion and Winds Classes. The deadline to register for TMA Championships is January 15th.
The 2020 Policy Manual is now located on the Director Dashboard under the section called “Forms.”
As per the units request, TMA is attempting to help ease the burden of traveling to shows while still being able to be a member of the circuit. We have added 3 double show weekends at the end of the season to better assist you with travel cost. To make this possible and ensure successful events for our host schools, we will rely on you to ensure you are attending events that are local to YOU!
Also per the units request, we will provide as much information regarding Judges as soon as possible. The Judges will be listed as an attachment under each event page in the next couple of days. Please note, the list for each event are not final and are subject to change.
We pride ourselves on being an educational circuit. We will be holding several educational clinics during the 2020 season. These educational opportunities include a Master Dance Clinics, 3 Percussion Clinics, and a Percussion Community Day. The additional comments section for each event page denotes what events are being held and where.
Please also note that we now have a new email system, including our main email account. A list of those email accounts can be found in the About section of the new website.
If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to email us at tristate@tristatemarchingarts.org
Thank you,
